We're all about added value. We back up our technical service with CAD layouts and 3D visuals so you know exactly what your event will look like. We design and build your conference set, and print any artwork to reinforce your brand and messages. Our creative team animate custom content and develop your presentations to make them effective and beautiful. This in-house service is fully integrated with the rest of our event delivery. Project Manager

The Project Managers are responsible for bringing together the various elements of Universal Live’s full solution offering to deliver top class live events for our clients.

Title: Project Manager
Location: Manchester, Rugby or Bradford offices
Salary: Salary and package dependant on experience

The role:
The Project Managers are responsible for bringing together the various elements of Universal Live’s full solution offering to deliver top class live events for our clients.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•    Attend client meetings to discuss brief
•    Develop solutions to a client brief
•    Prepare costs and CADs
•    Work with our media team to develop visuals
•    Prepare quotes and assist with pitch documents
•    Attend site visits and production meetings
•    Work with the Hire Desk to book crew, equipment, transport
•    Work with the warehouse to organise kit prep and load/unload
•    Support the client pre-event
•    Work with the Hire Desk to track the progress of the job and documentation
•    Manage the kit, crew, transport on site and liaise with the venue and client
•    Ensure that all legislation is complied with regarding H&S and relevant company policies
•    Manage any changes or problems that occur on-site
•    Post event completion of costs and paperwork
•    Internal debrief and feedback with client
•    Work with the team to constantly update our kit, processes and creative ideas
•    Account Management
•    Business Development

Key Skills and Experience Required:

The successful candidate will need to have a proven interest in the live event industry, ideally with hands on knowledge of audio visual, sound, lighting, rigging, set and staging equipment.

•    Experience in a related role
•    Proven record in live communication and event solutions
•    A proven ability to control large and complicated event projects
•    Ability to communicate and consult effectively with good presentation skills
•    Proven technical background and understanding of key departments
•    Ability to self-manage and self-motivate whilst working in a team
•    Good person management skills
•    Able to apply logical and logistical planning methods to the department’s requirements.
•    Ability to communicate and consult effectively with good presentation skills
•    Full UK Driving License (minimum age 21 years, must hold license for at least 1 year prior)
•    Ability to take own initiative
•    Be able show good time management skills
•    Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Package
It is important that we get the right candidate for this position and the package will therefore be tailored to suit.
The position can be based from our Manchester, Bradford or Rugby office dependent on suitability

Terms
•    This is a permanent full time post commencing as soon as possible.
•    There is a probation period of six months.
•    This is a full-time post with occasional evening and weekend working, for which overtime will be paid.
•    Basic hours of work are normally 08:30-17:30 with a one hour lunch break.
•    Salary for this post is dependent on experience and on completion of probation.
•    The holiday leave year runs from 1 January to 31 December.  Holiday entitlement for full-time employees is 20 days per annum, including three days between Christmas and New Year, plus bank holidays.
