Universal Live provide Bath University with production services through the Inter-Regional AV Framework
Universal Live through the Inter-regional Audio Visual Equipment Framework was proud to provide production services to Bath University for its Summer Graduation Ceremonies at Bath Abbey on 3rd, 4th and 5th July, 2012.
The brief was to provide production design, support and delivery. The event specification was to provide equipment and crew to produce broadcast quality audio and video feed of the events, to be relayed live to twelve plasma screens situated throughout the Abbey. The audio was distributed through the Abbey’s PA system. The event was recorded in broadcast quality to a format suitable for streaming and high quality archive.
The main challenge for this event was to retain the high quality of technical delivery whilst working in a challenging venue and driving down costs.
We were successful in our solution which answered all the requirements and will continue to provide Bath University with a high quality production solution and support at best value for its forthcoming events. The solution is a fully in-house service that does not outsource kit equipment or technology.
Universal Live was pleased to offer a partnership with Bath University to develop creative solutions on delivering a production set up that is fit for purpose and cost effective.
Pete Clark AV Manager at Bath University Comments:
“We chose Universal Live and everyone is delighted with the results and their professionalism. …………………….. Without the AV Framework I doubt that we would have found them or changed.”
