Pandoras Box

We have recently invested in Pandoras Box. The box offers versatile tools for interactive media control. A timeline based show control solution which acts as a media server and an ability to manipulate any input to fit any surface or screen. Blending capabilities are simple to set up and use. Image mapping onto any shape is possible with simple meshing technologies which are built into the unit. We have also invested in the additional add on items such as the Widget Designer Pro which works seamlessly with the unit to enhance the look of any presentation. Part of the Widget Designer Pro is the Air Scan. This clever piece of software coupled with various bits of hardware (depending upon application) allows the presenters and users to interface with the presentation by moving Pictures in Pictures (PIPS) around the screen area via hand gesturing movements (like on an Ipod touch).

3D technology is moving fast and Pandoras Box allows us to produce interactive 3Dimensional conferences, moving maps or bullet points out of the screen and into the viewer's line of sight, giving presentations a special touch that stays on the minds of the audience.

This piece of equipment is the most powerful, most flexible and most creative video and widescreen display, multi windowing processor available on the market. The power of the Spyder video processor means a big impact for any production. Different medias can be shown together on single or multiple screens, allowing for custom displays tailored to your event. Spyder is so flexible that it can be used for everything from small meetings to large concerts and award ceremonies.

Spyder gives the producer total control and flexibility. It can mix an incredible number of sources in multiple windows, create all kinds of picture-in-pictures (PIPs), define, shape and blend borders with remarkable ease, and do it all without a hitch, every single time. This powerful technology produces complex presentations which are unique to your event. Spyder can utilise up to 32 universal inputs, which can be each assigned as independent windows, or up to 16 mixers. These assignments are completely dynamic and can change from cue to cue, or preset to preset.

The Spyder system is incredibly versatile, flexible, easy to use and is compatible with a multitude of sources. It can utilise HD, DVI, Analog RGB, SDI, HD-SDI, analog beta cam, composite, or s-video. Name it and you're mixing, animating, manipulating and projecting it. Spyder has 3 times more pixels than any other presentation system. The same input channels can be utilized across more pixels and these pixels can be viewed by multiple outputs. The system has powerful expansion capabilities, allowing additional inputs or outputs through the Spyder expansion connection. Spyder units can also be connected in parallel to allow a larger area for display.
