We aren’t like your average technical production company, sure we provide you with top-class kit, and work with you from your initial concept through to the delivery of the event and beyond, but, we come with a whole load of added extras. What we do

Our story

We started from humble beginnings, selling the ‘Universal’ tripod back in 1990. In 1996 we truly began our journey when the hire department came to life.

Over the years we have diversified and flourished, always staying one step ahead of the game. Earning our reputation within the industry for consistently delivering high quality and innovative event production, with a friendly and professional approach.

Constantly growing our business, in 2005 our Venue Partnership division was formed.

Eight years on and we added to the Universal family once more with Piccadilly Live. In 2016 Piccadilly officially united their bond with us. This coincided with the management buyout and a new leadership team was formed from existing long-serving team members.

To meet the growing demand for virtual events in 2020 we converted our Manchester Branch into a dedicated broadcasting studio in addition a number of virtual studios were set up across the country. Following considerable investment in 2020, we finally moved into our new purpose-built headquarters in West Yorkshire in 2021.
