Personal Finance Society
BRIEF:
To convert the Halls 19 and 20 of the NEC into a financial festival, featuring eight separate spaces needing individual technical production requirements. The eight spaces comprised of a plenary, four theatre spaces, video link (plenary to all areas), open spaces, future generation stage, registration area, and a festival green with a radio booth.
Initially, the build was scheduled for three days but this was changed to 24 hours rig and rehearsal time.
SOLUTION:
With the tight turnaround for the rig and rehearsal, the pre-production work for this event was key to ensuring that the event was delivered on time.
Drawing on our vast in-house project management team, who were assigned an area and a team of technicians and local crew, split across the day and night rigging teams, totalling 84 crew.
We actively focused on how the technology was integrated creatively to help drive the objectives and reinforce the purpose of the event.
Closely developing the event design, producing technical CAD drawings, visuals and refined budgets as well as a site inspection, health and safety documentation, venue infrastructure and logistics.
Over the two day live event we managed all the technical production including all aspects of lighting, sound, vision, power, rigging, set, stage and large format printing. As well as pre-recorded content which played on-demand as delegates entered a code in any space in the venue.
