Have You Met... Rich T?
Rich joined our team at the Chesford Grange Hotel in 2011 as the on-site AV Manager. He has worked his way up in many roles within the company, including, QHotels Operations Manager, to his most current role as Project Manager within the Live division.
In a past life, he was a street juggler in Covent Garden. He loves the events with a quirky twist or theme, especially if he needs to source or make something out of the ordinary for them.
What’s the craziest event you have ever worked on?
“Probably working on the Olympus medical events where I got to watch the surgery, up close in the same room, you don’t get that in most jobs……unless you’re a surgeon I guess.”
Favourite food?
“I’m pretty sure I could be an expert of different BBQ sauces.”
Best on-site crew moment?
“None that are suitable for a publication! 🙂”
What’s the best thing about working in the live events industry?
“The variety of events and crew that you work with.”
What would you be doing if you weren’t doing what you do now?
“I’d probably have a normal sleep pattern, and a job working in some sort of media. Or a quote if we are talking about this lol.”

“Chilled, socialist, thrill-seeker, shaky hands.”
How do you like your eggs?
“In the morning, on top of bacon that’s on top of a sourdough muffin, all of this sits under hollandaise sauce on a plate.”
