Environmental Policy
As a leading technical production company, we recognise the importance of safeguarding the environment for the well-being of future generations and the long-term sustainability of our business. We are committed to minimising our environmental impact through responsible and proactive practices, guided by our Environmental Management System (EMS).
Our Environmental Policy is founded on the following principles:
1. Compliance with Environmental Regulations
We will meet or exceed all relevant environmental legislation, regulations, and standards in every country and region in which we operate. Compliance is the foundation of our commitment to sustainability.
2. Environmental Management System (EMS)
We will implement, maintain, and continually improve an Environmental Management System (EMS) to effectively identify, assess, and control our environmental aspects and impacts. Our EMS will be regularly reviewed to ensure it remains effective, up-to-date, and aligned with business changes. This system will include comprehensive processes for monitoring, measuring, and auditing our environmental performance, with clear objectives and targets established to drive continual improvement.
3. Leadership and Commitment
Our top management is committed to demonstrating leadership in environmental management. Management will ensure that the resources, support, and framework required to achieve our environmental objectives are available, and will take an active role in promoting a culture of environmental responsibility across the organisation. Environmental performance and progress towards our objectives will be regularly reviewed at the highest level.
4. Sustainable Resource Management
We are committed to minimising our consumption of natural resources. This includes actively reducing our energy and water usage, promoting renewable resources, and sourcing sustainable materials wherever feasible to lower our carbon footprint. Our environmental objectives will include specific resource efficiency targets.
5. Pollution Prevention
We will minimise the emission of pollutants and actively prevent contamination of air, water, and soil from our operations. In addition, robust emergency response procedures will be in place to swiftly address any incidents that could cause environmental harm. Objectives will be set to continuously improve our pollution prevention measures.
6. Waste Reduction and Management
We will prioritise waste reduction, reuse, and recycling across our operations. Effective waste management strategies will be in place to handle all waste streams with environmental responsibility in mind. We will set objectives to reduce waste sent to landfill and improve waste reduction in general.
7. Energy Efficiency and Conservation
We will optimise energy use by integrating energy-efficient technologies and practices throughout our business, from production to daily operations, reducing our reliance on non-renewable energy sources. Our environmental objectives will include specific energy efficiency targets to reduce our overall carbon footprint.
8. Risk and Opportunity Management
We will actively identify and assess environmental risks and opportunities related to our activities. This will enable us to address potential environmental impacts proactively and take advantage of opportunities for positive environmental contributions. Our objectives will be developed in response to identified risks and opportunities.
9. Continuous Environmental Improvement
We are committed to continuously improving our environmental performance by setting clear objectives and targets, measuring our progress, and adopting best practices. These objectives will be aligned with our EMS and reviewed regularly to ensure effectiveness. We will actively seek innovations that promote environmental stewardship across our industry.
10. Stakeholder Engagement and Training
All employees, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders will be made aware of this policy and their role in supporting it. We will provide ongoing training, resources, and communications to enable them to contribute meaningfully to our environmental goals.
11. Sustainable Product and Service Design
Environmental considerations will be central to the design, development, and delivery of our products and services. We will prioritise sustainable materials, energy-efficient designs, and recyclability wherever feasible, and work closely with our suppliers to promote responsible sourcing and sustainable supply chains. Objectives will be set to enhance the sustainability of our products & services.
By adhering to this policy, we commit to minimising our environmental footprint and fostering sustainable development. We view environmental stewardship not only as a responsibility but as an opportunity to innovate and create long-term value for both our company and the planet.
