ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Policy

Universal Live Ltd is committed to providing and maintaining safe and healthy working conditions for all employees, contractors, visitors, and others who may be affected by our activities. Our aim is to prevent work-related injury and ill health, and to foster a positive health and safety culture throughout the organisation.

Our Commitments

We will:

  • Provide safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health.
  • Eliminate hazards and reduce OH&S risks through effective risk assessment and control measures.
  • Comply with all applicable legal requirements and other OH&S obligations to which we subscribe.
  • Continually improve our OH&S management system and overall OH&S performance.
  • Ensure the participation and consultation of workers at all levels, including their representatives, in OH&S decision-making processes.
  • Provide the necessary training, resources, and supervision to enable everyone to work safely and responsibly.
  • Promote health, safety, and wellbeing both on and off site.

Our Scope

This policy applies to all activities conducted by Universal Live Ltd, including planning, preparation, transportation, equipment hire, installation, operation, and de-rig of technical production services for live events, whether in our offices, warehouse, or at customer sites in the UK or internationally. It is appropriate to the purpose and context of UL and supports our strategic direction, whilst providing a framework for setting OH&S objectives.

Our Responsibilities

  • Directors and Senior Management will lead by example, integrate OH&S into business decisions, and provide the resources needed to achieve our objectives.
  • Managers will implement OH&S controls in their areas, monitor compliance, and address issues promptly.
  • All workers are responsible for working safely, following OH&S procedures, and reporting hazards or incidents without delay.

Monitoring and Review

This policy will be communicated to all employees and made available to interested parties. It will be reviewed annually, or sooner if significant changes occur, to ensure its continued suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness.
